We have finally managed to lower the boat into the water this year, after all the repairs and the problems we have had with the management of the pontoon. To be able to lower the boat into the water we needed to have a place to leave the boat docked, since there was a change of management on the jetty where we used to dock the boat, they had rented our place, but fortunately two days before we lowered the boat my friend he managed to get a longer berth than the one we were using, and it was a relief to have a place to dock the boat. It would have been quite a setback to have spent more than a month fixing all the damage that the boat had, and that in the end we had nowhere to leave the boat docked. We have only forgotten one thing to fix and that is the hook of the rear ladder, but for this we need an elastic plastic or something similar that we have not found yet. Now we just need a bit of good weather to come, which it seems will still take a few days since it doesn’t stop raining.
Now we are going to have to collect all the tools and all the things that we have left in the warehouse that they had left us to be able to make the repairs and to whose owner we are very grateful. But the important thing was to get the boat out of there as soon as possible, since we had to take advantage of the fact that the road was under construction to be able to get out without disturbing the traffic. And that was the biggest task of the day, which was quite long, since we were there from twelve in the morning until we left the boat on the jetty at half past nine, with just enough time to go to the house of one of my friends from school with whom he had arranged to have dinner with him. It was a fairly full day but at the same time quite exhausting since throughout the day it was a lack of control, but the important thing is that we achieved our purpose, which was to leave the boat in the water.
